An examined dinner knife is signed by the spectator along the handle. They hold onto the handle and can clearly see that the knife is straight. All you do is massage the blade softly causing it to bend at a 45 degree angle. The bent knife never leaves the spectators hand and can be immediately examined. This leaves the spectator with an impossible object that they can not bend back!
